New client guide
Your first visit to Maison de Cheveux
You do not need to know the exact service name. Every new client begins with a brief phone conversation so we can understand your goals, recommend the right service and stylist, and reserve enough time.
First-visit requests are handled by phone, not text. Your appointment is not reserved until our team confirms it with you.
The easiest option
Prefer that we call you?
The request form takes about a minute. It asks only for your name, phone number, email, the type of service you are considering, and the best time to reach you. A brief note is optional.
Your email is required for secure form delivery only. The form does not subscribe you to email or text marketing, and submitting it does not reserve an appointment.
How it works
How your first appointment begins
Our guidance is designed to make booking easier—not to put work on you.
Call or request a phone call
Choose whichever is easiest. If you are unsure what service you need, simply select “Not sure which service.”
We guide the plan
We’ll ask about your current hair, recent color or chemical history, desired result, maintenance preferences, and availability.
We confirm the appointment
Once the plan is clear, our team confirms the appointment and explains any preparation, consultation, or deposit requirements.
No homework required
A few details can help us guide you
You do not need perfect terminology or a complete plan. Share what you know, and we’ll ask the right follow-up questions.
- What you like and dislike about your hair now
- Recent color, lightening, keratin, perm, or other chemical services—including at-home color
- The result you hope to achieve
- How often you are comfortable returning for maintenance
- Two or three realistic reference images, if you have them
- Any known allergies or sensitivities that may affect your service
A helpful starting point
Tell us what you want to change
You can describe the result in your own words. These categories simply help point the conversation in the right direction.
Haircuts & styling
Tell us how you wear your hair now, what you want to change, and whether you want a shampoo, blow-dry, or finished style.
Color, highlights & foils
Share your recent color and lightening history, your desired result, and how much maintenance feels realistic.
Treatments
Tell us whether your main concern is buildup, dryness, weakness, damage, softness, or shine.
Keratin, smoothing & perms
Share your texture goals, chemical history, length, and density so we can determine consultation and timing needs.
Nails & waxing
Tell us the service you want and whether removal or other preparation may be needed.
Not sure
That is completely fine. Select “Not sure which service” on the request form and let our team take it from there.
Complex services
Consultations and deposits
Some transformations require more planning than a standard appointment. Color correction, major color changes, keratin services, selected perms, and special-occasion styling may require a separate consultation or deposit.
If either applies, our team will explain it before your appointment is reserved. A separate in-person consultation is not automatically required for every new client.
First-visit questions
Quick answers before you begin
Can I book online if I have never visited Maison de Cheveux?
No. Every first-time client must call or request a phone call before an appointment is reserved. Online self-booking is reserved for returning clients.
Does the request form reserve an appointment?
No. It sends your information to our team so we can call, guide you, and confirm the correct appointment.
Will you text me about my first-visit request?
No. First-visit guidance is handled by phone.
What if I have no idea which service to choose?
That is completely fine. Select “Not sure which service” on the request form, or call us. Choosing the correct service is part of the guidance we provide.
Does every new client need a separate in-person consultation?
Not necessarily. Our team determines that during the phone conversation. Complex color, correction, and selected chemical services may need a separate consultation before the service date.
Can returning clients book online?
Yes. Returning clients who know which service they need may use online booking or Client Login.
