These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of mdcsalon.com, our online booking experience, our Shopify retail storefront, our text-messaging program, and other services offered by Maison de Cheveux LLC, doing business as Maison de Cheveux (“Maison de Cheveux,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website, booking an appointment, purchasing a product, or enrolling in text messages, you agree to the portions of these Terms that apply to your interaction with us.
1. Website Use
You may use our website only for lawful, personal, and noncommercial purposes related to learning about, booking, purchasing from, or communicating with Maison de Cheveux. You may not attempt to disrupt the website, gain unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, collect information through unauthorized automated means, impersonate another person, or use the website in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
2. Appointments and Salon Services
Services are provided by appointment and are subject to stylist availability. An appointment is accepted when it is confirmed through our booking system or by our team. Please provide accurate contact and service information and notify us promptly if it changes.
Service timing and results vary based on hair condition, history, texture, requested outcome, and other individual factors. A consultation may be required before we can confirm a service plan, timing, or price. Pricing shown online may be a starting price unless the service description states otherwise. Any cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, late-arrival, or no-show policy displayed during booking or included in your confirmation is incorporated into these Terms for that appointment.
3. Online Product Orders
Product descriptions, images, prices, availability, and promotions may change without notice. We work to present information accurately, but colors, packaging, and appearance may vary by screen, manufacturer update, or product batch. We may limit quantities, correct errors, reject or cancel an order, or issue a refund when a product is unavailable, an order appears fraudulent, or information was materially incorrect.
You agree to provide current billing, shipping, and contact information. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and the total price will be presented during checkout. Any separate shipping, return, or refund policy displayed on our website or during checkout also applies to the order.
4. Payments
Payments may be processed by Shopify, Boulevard, or another payment provider. Your use of a provider’s payment service may also be subject to that provider’s terms. You authorize the applicable charge when you submit a payment. We are not responsible for charges imposed by your bank, card issuer, mobile carrier, or other third-party provider.
5. Maison de Cheveux SMS Messaging Terms
Program Description
Maison de Cheveux Messages is a text-messaging program operated by Maison de Cheveux LLC using Boulevard and related communications providers. Depending on the consent you provide, messages may include:
- Transactional messages: appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling changes, waitlist notices, account or service updates, receipts, and two-way customer-service communications.
- Marketing messages: salon news, special offers, promotions, and service announcements. Marketing texts are sent only if you separately opt in to receive them.
Consent
By providing your mobile number and affirmatively opting in to the applicable message category, you authorize Maison de Cheveux to send recurring automated text messages to that number. Your consent to receive marketing text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing a product, booking an appointment, or receiving salon services. Consent to transactional messages does not by itself constitute consent to marketing messages. You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and are authorized to give this consent.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies based on your appointments, requests, account activity, and, if separately selected, marketing activity. Maison de Cheveux does not charge a separate fee for text messages, but message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Contact your carrier with questions about your plan.
Opt-Out and Help Instructions
- Reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to opt out of all Maison de Cheveux text messages. We may send one final message confirming the opt-out.
- Reply NO PROMOS to opt out of promotional or marketing text messages only. You may continue to receive transactional messages about appointments, account activity, receipts, and customer-service requests unless you also reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE.
- Reply HELP for help, call (856) 575-0705, or email hello@mdcsalon.com.
- Reply START to request resubscription after opting out. Additional consent may be required before marketing messages resume.
Opting out of text messages does not cancel an existing appointment or order. It may limit our ability to send reminders or updates by text, so please maintain another way for us to contact you when needed.
Delivery and Carrier Disclaimer
Text-message delivery is subject to network availability and carrier processing. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Not all mobile devices, carriers, or locations may be supported. If you change, deactivate, transfer, or reassign your mobile number, please update your information with us promptly.
SMS Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be provided to service providers acting on our behalf solely to operate and deliver the messaging program, or as required by law. For more information, review our Privacy Policy.
6. Accounts and Information You Provide
If an account is available, you are responsible for keeping login information confidential and for activity under your account. You agree that information you provide will be accurate and that you will update it when necessary. Contact us promptly if you believe an account or payment method has been used without authorization.
7. Intellectual Property
The website and its original text, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, layout, and other content are owned by or licensed to Maison de Cheveux and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or commercially exploit this content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
8. Reviews, Feedback, and Submitted Content
If you submit a review, testimonial, photo, comment, or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it is not unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or harmful. You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and adapt that content for operating and promoting our business, subject to applicable law and any privacy choices we provide. We may decline or remove submitted content when reasonably necessary.

Our website and services may use or link to third-party platforms, including Shopify and Boulevard. We do not control all features, availability, security, or content of third-party services. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the website and online content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. General website content and product information are provided for informational purposes and are not medical advice or a substitute for an in-person consultation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Maison de Cheveux will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the website, third-party platforms, or text-messaging program. Our liability for a specific product order or paid service will not exceed the amount you paid to Maison de Cheveux for that order or service giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit that violates another person’s rights. This section does not require you to indemnify Maison de Cheveux for its own unlawful conduct.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction over Cumberland County, New Jersey, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless a different effective date is stated or applicable law requires otherwise.
